The territorial administrative unit Vrancea submitted the project CONSOLIDATION, RESTAURANT AND IMPLEMENTATION IN THE MUSEUM VRANCEI CLADIREA THE COURT OF JUSTICE CODE LMI VN-II-mA-06417 under the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020, Priority Axis 5: “Improvement of the urban environment and preservation, protection and the sustainable valorisation of cultural heritage “, Investment Priority 5.1:” Conservation, protection, promotion and development of natural and cultural heritage “. The Financing Contract was concluded on 04.09.2017 between the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration and the European Funds as Managing Authority for the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020, through the South Eastern Regional Development Agency, as the Body Intermediary for the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020 and the Vrancea County Administrative Unit as a beneficiary.

The general objective of the project is to consolidate, restore and capitalize on the historical monument Vrancea County Court in order to capitalize on the local cultural heritage and cultural identity by transforming this building into the Vrancea Museum – the County Court Building and rendering it to the public visitor.

The specific objectives of the project are:

• Consolidation, Restoration and Valuation of the Historical Monument Vrancea County Court;
• Appropriate endowment of the monument, restored and restored to be transformed into the Vrancea Museum – the County Court Building;
• Inclusion of consolidated and restored heritage in the tourist circuit;
• Digitization of the project as a result of the consolidation and rehabilitation of the historic monument;
• Promote the project and the historic and consolidated monument.

Project results

Consolidation and rehabilitation of the heritage building and its development in the tourist circuit as well as the 100% increase in the expected number of visits to the cultural heritage objective supported.

The target group of the project is the potential visitors who will benefit from the services provided by the Vrancea Museum – the County Court Building. The target group consists of individuals of any age, legal persons, both in Vrancea county and other parts of the country who will be interested in the services provided by the museum.

The duration of the project – october 2023.

The total value of the project is 30 361 098,38 lei
