The school center for inclusive education Mihălceni was founded in 1981 under the name of the Special School.

Our school has “open gates” for all children, regardless of ethnicity, religion, material situation, giving them equal opportunities for education.

The unit places the child at the heart of the entire activity, with its capacities, inclinations and needs, seeking to develop in such a way that everyone feels useful, to believe in his powers of living through what he is.

The centre provides education for children aged 6-22, distributed at the following levels of pre-university education: primary, secondary and vocational, qualification level III – textiles manufacturing specialization.

The unit provides children with a modern facility, equipped with:

• classrooms;
• tailoring workshop, equipped with the latest equipment;
• computer science laboratory;
• speech therapy cabinets;
• medical office.

During the schooling, the pupils of the school center for inclusive education Mihălceni

receive accommodation in 4-bed dormitory, as well as food prepared by qualified staff within the facility.

The school center for inclusive education Mihălceni provides special education through qualified and devoted teachers, auxiliary teaching staff and non-teaching staff.
